Upcoming roof works and the impact on future bookings
As you may know, a hail storm in late 2023 caused extensive damage to Taracoonee’s roof. The roof has been covered by a large tarp while discussions with our insurer have proceeded.
Work to replace the roof (repair is not possible for a variety of reasons) will occur in 2025, and this will mean that for 3-6 months Taracoonee will not be able to accommodate visitors.
Timing of the construction is unknown, but it is anticipated that construction work will commence in late 2025.
Please continue to check this website - it will be updated as soon as the time frame for construction is known.
If you do make a booking, please check back with us before you go.
